 We have a number of python scripts that are generated from .in files at
 configure time. We also have a file src/lib/python/bind10_config.py[.in]
 that is supposed to act like the config.h file in cpp; we should put
 configure-time substitutions in this file instead of in all the generated
 .py files.

 ps. when we do this, it'll cause a lot of git checkout 'problems' (files
 that were generated in one branch but are in the repository of another),
 we might want to add a small script that deletes them as an interim
 workaround until we have no old branches left after this is done.
