 for an initial stab. It does not entirely spec out internal method names
 and classes, as it may depend on what the result of #1452 and #1454 ends
 up looking like (for instance, can we take the same 3-class approach as
 currently used in xfrout? main-module creates a unixsocket object which
 spawns DDNSSession instances for each update?)
