 Code is implemented and ready for review.

 Please note that test approach uses parsing of 'ifconfig -a' output that
 has some information missing (e.g. ifindex). It is not possible to
 thoroughly test such functionality without reimplementing interface
 detection. In fact, current code that parses ifconfig output can be used
 as interface detection code.
