 Thank you for the comments. I think that item 1 ("Does the API make
 sense?") of the API Review guidelines at
 http://bind10.isc.org/wiki/CodeReviewProcedure is met. The remaining items
 in that list are:

 2. Are there functions missing?
 3. Are there functions unnecessary?
 4. Does the documentation specify exceptions and memory allocations?

 With respect to item 3, the answer is currently "no." As development
 progresses, documentation for item 2 and 4 should also progress.
