 While probably not strictly necessary, I think this would be a good moment
 to make an actual resolver 'library', and move resolver-specific code out
 of asiolink. This may even be necessary for #494 (or at the very least
 very useful).

 Theoretically, this would mostly involve renaming and moving classes and
 methods, but there are inevitably going to be some hairy details around
 asio.
