 I have:

 /usr/local/lib/libutil_unittests.a
 /usr/local/lib/python3.1/site-packages/pyunittests_util.so
 /usr/local/lib/python3.1/site-packages/pyunittests_util.la
 /usr/local/lib/python3.1/site-packages/pyunittests_util.a
 /usr/local/lib/python3.1/site-packages/pyunittests_util.so.0.0.0
 /usr/local/lib/python3.1/site-packages/pyunittests_util.so.0
 /usr/local/lib/libutil_unittests.la
 /usr/local/lib/libutil_unittests.so.0.0.0
 /usr/local/lib/libutil_unittests.so
 /usr/local/lib/libutil_unittests.so.0

 Why are these installed?

If these are meant to be installed do they need some documentation?
and also should have naming that is not so generic (add "bind10?)
