Comment:

 Apart from converting the logging, i made one change (as discussed on
 jabber); at the MSGQ_DISAPPEARED error, there was a break, which seems to
 have been supposed to break out of the main loop, but it didn't (there's a
 second loop), resulting in said message being printed a LOT of times. So
 it now also sets runnable to false.
