The code itself looks OK and after reading jinmei's rationale, I
understand the reason for the verbosity. It runs when merged with master
(with the bugfix).
Anyway, do we expect some integration with the NULL output? Because, as I
wrote in the linked ticket, this produces huge amount of red lines for me
which is stressful and bad for the eyes (OK, exaggerating little bit, but
it has bad aesthetic effect on the bunch of green OKs).
This is OK to merge.
