Comment:

 Although #735 indicated that we could implement BIND 9 logging in BIND 10,
 the discussion at the [wiki:SprintPlanning20110503 2011-03-03 sprint
 planning] decided to go for log4cplus, providing that it was proved to
 work on all out systems.  This check was carried out as task #898, which
 showed that log4cplus does indeed work.

 The task then is to alter the logging code so that it becomes an interface
 to log4cplus.  (The files src/lib/log/xdebuglevel.* may be useful as
 examples; these are the implementation files used to link the logging code
 into log4cxx.  They can be removed once the logging is successfully linked
 into log4cplus.)
