 Just some minor comments in addition to the ones above;

 i'd also suggest queries with DO=1 in Requests.

 btw there was a question about what 'dropped' means; it could either be
 because server is too busy, or because it couldn't resolve before timeout,
 in the case of the latter there are two timeouts we could keep statistics
 of
