Comment:

 It should be ready for review. It is based on the trac802 code, so it
 should be reviewed since 51f3cb54492ef02e4951afb15a9c40ba0cdff4ce.

 There are some small edits elsewhere than required by this task, but both
 are needed because of tests and should be done by #1427 and #1428 and will
 be removed/replaced on the merge. There are both commented.
