 I've created a wiki page summarizing the initial discussions
 on this topic:
 http://bind10.isc.org/wiki/DifferenceDesign
 (there's also a link from the "System Components" page).

 There are alredy tickets for development tasks.

 I'm now moving this ticket to the review queue as a flag of
 "last call", and then close it in a few days even if no one
 makes an explicit comment.  If there's a critical error in the
 wiki page, please raise it or update the page directly.  Or course,
 even after closing this ticket we can revisit design details (and
 there are open issues anyway).
