 I've just noticed 'make distcheck' doesn't enable gtest unless we
 explicitly specify the --with-gtest flag in DISTCHECK_CONFIGURE_FLAGS.

 It's not critical, but will lead to more buildbot failures like this one:

 I suggest enabling it (by twekaing configure.ac and Makefile.am) for
 distcheck
 when --with-gtest is specified for the main build mode.
