 Okay that is fine, but we need to document the design somewhere for this.
 So this implies that the sockcreator may need to be extended to allow it
 to redefine (setuid/setgid) the username/group it is running as after it
 has already been started. (Note that some operating systems don't need
 "root" for socket handling.) In other words, socketcreator is started,
 configurations parsed, and then socketcreator told what user/group to
 switch to.  I guess a simple solution is to just pass that information on
 the startup command-line.
