Comment:

 having the option to (re)generate the manpages without doing reconfigure
 and deleting all current placeholders would be awesome.

 Other than that I think this is a fine step, I did however find one
 problem; the build currently fails on generating a real manpage for
 sockcreator (which I guess is intentional since it should never be started
 directly, alternatively we should add a simple manpage that says so, and
 what it does)
