Comment:

 As requested by Shane and Jeremy, I've done this ticket now as well
 (forgot to assign it and put it in the sprint).

 It does the things above, but I'm not completely happy with it yet, it's
 auth only, and some steps can probably be made into one compound step. It
 also leaves out the configuration changes test.

 A few steps are also commented out; as soon as you remove an instance but
 leave the other one, it stops responding to queries :( (I've tried this
 out manually, and they do arrive, but an answer never comes back), perhaps
 this is the same problem as #1703.

 I want to add those (i.e. see if we can test multiple things in one
 scenario, i am thinking of a Scenario Outline, but it's non-trivial), but
 right now I think it's best to do that in a separate ticket, so we can at
 least get this basic test in, and expand it later.
