 not be the best place, so discussion is still open on when exactly to do
 them.

 However, it is pretty clear that we do in fact need to do them, so the
 task for this ticket is to add them to the DDNS module.

 It's probably better to start this task after #1512 (at least after
 we agree on its basic code structure).
