Comment:

 We briefly discussed on jabber what to actually do here (As the original
 discussion on -dev considered a lot of points but did not reach an obvious
 consensus), so for now i intend to make use of (and probably extend) the
 diff.py class that is used in xfrin, so that we can at least have progress
 on the DDNS work.
