 Another thing I've just noticed: I'd like to throw an exception
 from the `InputSource` constructor (the file version) if it fails to
 open it.  It will be handled in `MasterLexer::open()` or at the
 application.  And, of course we need a test case for this first, if it
 doesn't exist yet.
