 I might have met this problem and disregarded it as problem with my setup,
 it seems. It strangely failed with xfr-out on IPv6, but worked on IPv4
 (possibly my IPv4 is faster or due to the larger IPv6 headers, it the
 buffers fill up with IPv6 but not with IPv4).

 I'm going to check if it still happens with this patch.
