Comment:

 David, thanks for the patch. It was done backwards, so I had to do patch
 -R to apply it, but it's not a big deal. I have applied it, updated
 ChangeLog entry and pushed everything to trac2592. Can some other
 developer review my changes to the code? You are welcome to also review
 David's changes if you want to double check them.

 Note: I have made a typo before when naming the branch. The code used to
 be available on trac2952 patch, but this branch is now deleted. The code
 is on trac2592.
