The task for this ticket is to try using boost's asio without depending on
boost libraries.
Maybe need to define BOOST_ASIO_HEADER_ONLY and undefine
BOOST_ASIO_DYN_LINK and undefine BOOST_ASIO_SEPARATE_COMPILATION.
I didn't test using my trac3135 branch because asio/error_code.hpp and
asio/system_error.hpp do not exist in boost/asio but are referenced by our
source code.
