> Currently appendRequestedOptions() will not assign anything if subnet
selection fails. It should try to append globally defined options in such
case. Although rare, there are still valid deployments where this could be
the case, e.g. when someone uses server to do stateless option assignment,
just DNS servers for example.

Ok. I created the new ticket #2718 to address stateless configuration. The
required changes look simple but we don't have much enough time to
implement that before the release of BIND10 which is today.
Ok to merge?
