 What is the exact problem you face with parallel build? Because I build
 bind10 with make -j6 and it seems to work for me.

 I'm not saying there are no issues (automake, for one, does not do
 parallel build across directories, but switching build system wasn't the
 highest priority lately). I know it doesn't work when you try to install
 with parallel make, and tests have issues. But the build itself should be
 possible.
