 trac2573 is ready for review.

 While working on it I found it would make more sense to change
 the definition of `MasterLexer::getTotalSourceSize()` and `getPosition()`,
 and made that change in the initial commit (1b32af4).

 Other than that it should be straightforward.

 Still not planning to add a changelog entry.  I think it's enough
 to add one on completion of loadzone change at #2574.
