Comment:

 The code has been implemented and is ready for review.

 Please note that the code is not bullet-proof. In particular, the DHCPv6
 server-id may be misread, eg. 1:2:3:4 will collapse into 1234 and will be
 read as 0x12, 0x34 (rather than expected 0x1, 0x2, 0x3, 0x4).
