 I'm not opposed to this, although I propose some benchmarking might be
 reasonable before we make any actual changes.

 Also, I'm not sure if having the task run in 2.5 minutes instead of 5
 minutes is really a big difference for most administrators. Both are long
 enough that you basically will do something else while waiting for it to
 complete... although I suppose the difference between 10 seconds and 5
 seconds might be more meaningful? :)
