 Hmm, right, it somehow works without a change on my environment, but I
 see it can fail and confirmed it on another platform.  And I fixed it.
 I also noticed run_sysinfo needed the same hack, and fixed it.

 There are even some more run_xxx.sh scripts that are probably
 affected, but I didn't touch them for now.  These don't seem to have
 to be run (much) today, and I hope we'll fix #2145 before we ever need
 to use them.
