Comment:

 We did discuss putting severity in the .mes files (I don't remember which
 meeting), and I think that the issue is you won't see the severity when
 reading the code then. There may have been more subtle issues that I don't
 remember.

 In any case, as Michal pointed out it might be difficult to do
 automatically, so while this idea is interesting it is probably really
 difficult. Patches welcome though! :)
