Comment:

 It should be ready for review.

 As this is mostly internal feature and there's no code to receive the
 notifications (not even library support), I don't think we need a
 changelog entry.

 Also, there are two very minor fixes in unrelated code, which I found by
 accident. As they are one-liners, they should not make reviewing harder.
