 f3d1983 is the substantive conversion to general datasource.
 8e0b50a..caa92a7 are further cleanup.

 Since xfrout has not been converted (#2965), I had to leave
 Auth/database_file in the master side of the lettuce test configuration,
 although I removed it from the slave side.
