As originally reported in bind10-dev Digest, Vol 47, Issue 21, when
running make check in FreeBSD 9.1, several tests during "make check" fail.
I am attaching the console log of the latest failure from today.

 Build is Revision 0107d1f09fb6075c9fc2ea6a162c85d4a89a8e85 (origin/HEAD).

 Build steps:
 autoreconf --install
 ./configure --with-gtest --without-werror
 make
 make install
 make check

It looks like Francis Dupont ran into this same issue before:
 https://lists.isc.org/pipermail/bind10-dev/2013-January/004297.html.
There, he claims that this might be fixable in BIND: "a catch to ...
(i.e., a catch all) fixes the problem and IMHO is safe as the try body is
 a single dynamic_cast statement."
