 Oops, that was a simple typo (asio constructor never throws with
 kqueue so I overlooked it).  I believe it's reproduciable for epoll
 environments, so I'm not sure why it didn't happen for you before, but
 I've fixed it anyway.  I confirmed it both pre and post the fix on a
 Linux machine.
