 Yes, I did. I always run the build & test from completely clean checkout.

 Anyway, I checked and the file is there. But still, the tools does not
 find it. Is it possible the `run_python-tool.sh` is run from different
 directory?

 Why is the script even needed? Because if you run lettuce through the
 run_lettuce.sh, the PATH should already be set up and propagated through.
