 This branch is fine now and you can go ahead and merge it.

 This ticket requires a `ChangeLog` message. I think it's best that for
 every ticket that we fix, we should:

 * Include a `ChangeLog` message for review, or
 * Say that the work does not require a `ChangeLog` entry when putting the
 ticket for review.

 This is so that we don't miss adding a `ChangeLog` entry. At release time,
 Jeremy reviews `ChangeLog` entries and it becomes difficult for him if
 some are missing.
