Why won't zonefile load?

Not that I would have a clue right now about what's wrong. But you might try
running it with -v to see more output (that could hint on what didn't work).

Anyway, this is what I get when loading the zone (while running):

Loading file "test2.zone.in"
4 RR(s) loaded in 0.26 second(s) (100.00% of test2.zone.in)
Done.

So, I guess you're doing it right, it just shouldn't stop before 100% (I suspect
some problem with either your sqlite version, or, the unfinished parser inside
the b10-loadzone ‒ but both should give an error message).

And SERVFAIL might mean the zone is not present there (which is what I'd guess,
if it didn't say 100%).

I'm sorry I can't provide more help, hopefully someone else will have an idea.
But see if anything is in the output when you run it with -v.
