Hmmm not sure yet, I almost have the Ubuntu build finished. Are you sure python has sqlite support? I don't see it in the build.
So far everything ok. Only differences,
make -j4 speeds things up, most modern computers can do at least a j4 even without 4 cores
sha1sum on downloads to verify (and Botan is gpg signed, so need to fetch the public key)
i'll check it out in a bit.
