Sorry for your trouble.  I believe this issue has been resolved (as a
result of some unrelated changes) in the git repository version.  If
you are interested please try it.  The fix will appear in the next
release (which I believe will be out within a few weeks).

It will still reject loading such a zone, though, and, actually it
will reject loading any other zones configured in that data source
too, so in practice the server still won't be usable.  I've created
tickets for fixing these:

and suggested we fix it soon.  Hopefully it will appear by the time we
release the official beta (or possibly even in the next alpha
release).
