Thinking about this, does anything still use the database_file option? I think
parts of XfrOut and XfrIn were already rewritten somewhere around there.

Also, is the Auth/datasources used by anything at all? It was used by auth only
at one point AFAIK and it is not used any more. Should we remove that one soon?
