DHCP users-

We posted the 4.4.0 branch in January, and we are now approaching the 6 month mark at the end of June, when we plan to cease active maintenance on the 4.3 branch. We do not plan to release further maintenance versions of 4.3. We will continue to maintain the 4.1 branch, (as we have already maintained it well past its original EOL date) because its smaller footprint are useful for some applications. Going forward, you can choose between 4.1 and 4.4.

If you are currently running 4.3, please plan to upgrade to 4.4 if you have not done so already. Unlike some ‘.0’ releases, this one is not a massive departure from the prior branch and should not introduce instability into your deployment. However, we recommend that you read the release notes (https://kb.isc.org/article/AA-01555/0/DHCP-4.4.0-Release-Notes.html <https://kb.isc.org/article/AA-01555/0/DHCP-4.4.0-Release-Notes.html>) before upgrading.

Regards,

Vicky
