Barr, I'm sorry if I came across as being agitated - it was nothing of
the sort.   I'm most grateful to you for your attempted contribution.
It's just that the mailing list software deleted your inclusion.
Just including the diffs inline will get through, as will including
them as a text/plain MIME type.   Any other MIME type is automatically
deleted.   Sigh.   :'}
