True, but I don't think this buy-in is needed to get the mechanism in 
place. Isn't the resolv.conf and ntp.conf code wholly-owned by the DHCP 
package right now? Factoring these into separate scripts also allows them 
to be moved to separate subpackages (for your choice of host system 
packaging scheme), allowing them to *not* be installed once the "proper" 
packages provide their own scripts.
