We haven't yet kicked 3.0.1 out the door in a final way, after like two 
years.   So for the purposes of closure, David is kicking it out the 
door.   This is a very good thing.   Perhaps those people who think 
that 3.0pl2 is better than 3.0.1rc12 will clue up when it's 3.0.1 
instead of 3.0.1rc12.
