To be clear - this was a case where the relay was transmitting to a
unicast MAC address with a broadcast destination IP address. It was
actually a unicast.
This was only found by some poor old fool whose switches implemented
some kind of 'mac address security' for them, refusing to forward
frames to an IP address when it didn't recognize the MAC address.
I'm supposing the converse may also happen in the wild and may be
equally undetectable, I don't know if that supposition bears fruit
or not.
