=======================

   I've just subscribed to this list, so I'm not aware of any
policies or conventions that are common knowledge to the rest of
you. Thus, I don't know what's usually done when someone produces
changes or updates to ISC's DHCP server.

   I have a set of patches for dhcpd 3.0.4/3.0.5b1 that provides
support for the "Domain Search Option" described in RFC 3397. I've
just read that this functionality is projected to be included in
3.1.0, but I also note that David Hankins says "... many of the
features ... which are not yet ready for release ... will not make it
into 3.1.0". Can anyone comment definitively on whether this feature
will make it into 3.1.0? If it won't, I'll post the patches for
those who need this functionality -- if someone will kindly tell me
how such postings are normally done.
