DHCPLEASEQUERY problems with V3.1.0a3

I downloaded and installed the lastest DHCP server and I am testing some
DHCPLEASEQUERY code I wrote.  The code is doing a query by IP address.  The
DHCPLEASEQUERY mostly succeeds and I see the DHCPLEASEACTIVE response.
After a few successful attempts, I see the following message in
/var/log/messages followed by the server shutting down:
Apr  2 14:07:51 earth2 dhcpd: Internal inconsistency: storage value has not
been initialized to zero (from dhcpleasequery.c:266).

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Is there a fix for it?
