Good to see that there are others seeking this as well! I was just  
about to attempt to create and submit my own patch for this, but I  
would like to review / test yours first.

However, I get a 403 Forbidden when attempting to download the patch  
linked from [1]. Is this intentional, or could the patch be made  
available again?
