Suggestion for out-of-band IPv6 DHCP server

Hello,

Recently I was looking for some out-of-band DHCP (will explain that later)
server functionality and could not find any solution. Then I looked into the
ISC DHCP server code in order to modify the IPv6 part to allow this
functionality.

However analyzing he code as well as developing a proper solution for the
suggestion it appeared that not only the IPV6 configuration part needs to be
adapted (mainly the config parser) but also the core of the DHCP server
which is why I would like to officially make my suggestion.

Of course I am going to detail this much more in a first step by providing
the goal of the modification and in a second step the technical details.
However at this time I want to make sure that this is the correct mailing
list to do so as I could not find a dhcp-dev list.

So, is this the correct mailing list ?

Cheers,

Gaston
