Here is an outline of the >plan: Well, I've written one. Please could I have your comments? I have also written a program dhcp-aggregate to aggregate the leases files. The aim is for large failover systems to be able to continue communicating, and not have to stop for five minutes to re-write 250 MB lease files. This is our solution to the problem of the dhcp server occasionally failing to resume normal communication after entering the communications-interrupted state while re-writing lease files. --=20 Nick Urbanik http://nicku.org x-71011 nick.urbanik@optusnet.com.au GPG: 7FFA CDC7 5A77 0558 DC7A 790A 16DF EC5B BB9D 2C24 ID: BB9D2C24
