Hi Richard

Search the list archives for 'PXEClient' - there are many examples
where a class is defined based on the vendor identifier. Inside the
class you can turn off ddns and do many other useful things. eg set
the lease time to be much shorter.

class "pxe-clients" {
  match if substring (option vendor-class-identifier, 0, 9) = "PXEClient";
  ddns-updates off;
  max-lease-time 900;
